Cold and rainy... let's make it "Custom Day!"

Ok, so I probably won't be done with the newest one (Project: Dreadlock) tomorrow as I had hoped... but DEFINITELY this week sometime.

Have I been working on it? You betcha. Just taking my time to give it all the detail it fully deserves.

Been a cold and rainy weekend here, so the family's been keeping busy indoors... and since my basement is freezing, I took the painting upstairs today, and we've had "Arts and Crafts" day.

Here's some shots from the wife, to PROVE I've been working on this... [img]wink.gif[/img] She loves to watch me paint, and my stepson got into some of his projects... He's made a little stained glass hangy thing. When he get's a little older, I plan on turning him into a "pairadocs junior."





Today was "legs, gloves, and armor day" - Got them mostly done... just a lot of little details. Then I gotta go back andfinish the torso. The head is all done. I have a website to make for someone this week, but I should have my evenings free to finish this thing.

It's getting close... I swear!

That's me... the "has-been, wannabe" skate rat.

I can't skate anymore... now that I'm almost 30, I've started to become more accustomed to the word "pain." If I were to fall (ok, not if I were to... when I DO fall), I can't bounce back like I used to. I've sold or thrown away my boards. I just poser it up in casual fashion now.

Hell, sometimes I get sore now from SLEEPING WRONG. What the fuck is up with that?!?!?

And Chesh... that's just my impromptu station... so I can paint and still be a part of the family. [img]smile.gif[/img] But my work area is still pretty clean... I showed pics last week... I'm kinda anal when it comes to that. A clean work area helps me create.

<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">Dear god man. I am guessing its not only customs and ideas we have in common. I to usta be a "skate rat", but we usta be called "skate punks". I geve up the look and riding after I ripped the tendons in both my ankles in one glorius crash. i sold my deck and gave up the foot tall, lime green, mohawk (this was the 80's). I miss it some times but then the hair ws ALOT of work to care for.
